Robin Bradbury's Llangollen Lectures of autumn 2006 are being prepared for presentation in book form.
The lectures were delivered to full houses at the Hand Hotel in Llangollen.
Lecture 1 Leonardo da Vinci and 'The Virgin and the Rocks'.

Lecture 2 Plato and 'The Simile of the Cave'.

Lecture 3 Samuel Taylor Coleridge and 'Imagination and Fancy'.

Lecture 4 Standing at the birth of the universe, reflections on the Big Bang and the structure of the universe.
Chaired by Dr.J.Cope, Physicist.
Lecture 5 Consciousness and the cosmos; are we conscious in the universe or as the universe.

Lecture 6 St Mark and the Transfiguration.

Robin Bradbury is chairing the spring series of Llangollen Lectures, 'God and Science', taking place at the Hand Hotel, Llangollen.
After a period of intense concentration on the meditative paintings for the book The Magi and the Moontree, the year 2007 will see considerable attention given to landscape and seascape paintings.
Discussions are in hand about this work forming the basis for a book to be published in 2008 |
